This quick start resource will help prospective parents consider the various key emotional and spiritual issues up front...before they plunge into the long and complex list of pre-adoption details. Without guidance and direction from your church pastor or those who have "run the race", it is not unusual for many adoptive couples to run into roadblocks, even dead ends.

The resource guide includes sections on

  • loving an adopted child
  • extended family's reaction
  • expenses
  • openness in adoption
  • the role of birth parents
  • physical disabilities
  • emotional/behavioral challenges
  • racial and cultural prejudices

This resource will help you move forward with firm emotional and spiritual footing.

Please note that A Child's Hope International is available for Sunday morning church services (special messages) as well as evening presentations that will assist those who want answers to questions on adoption.
