Small Town, Big Miracle

We are very excited that nationally known speaker, Bishop W.C.Martin will be coming to Cincinnati to meet with church pastors, spouses and ministry staff to share his powerful story. Bishop Martin is the author of Small Town, Big Miracle and has appeared on Focus on the Family, Oprah, CBS News, ABC News and others. Why is his story so amazing? Their small 200 member church adopted over 70 children from the foster care system. He will be coming to encourage, to challenge and to help all of us hear more clearly the cry of the orphans that are living without hope right here in our cities.

We will be reserving space at the table for senior pastors and church leaders involved with the adoption, foster care and orphan care. Since Crossroads is graciously hosting this event, the brunch is free! Reservations are required and encouraged as space is limited. As a special gift, each Sr. Pastor will be given an autographed copy of Small Town, Big Miracle.

Please consider including a member of your staff and a ministry leader who may already be involved in adoption or foster care to attend. If you would let us know who they are (coalition@achildshopeintl.org), we will send them a formal invitation as well.

Our goal during our brief time together will be to update you on the emerging plans for foster care training within our area churches and to prepare you with materials for National Orphan Sunday, Nov 8. That is a special date set aside to help our church members know more about the children who are abandoned, alone and hopeless.

Working together, we can defend the cause of the fatherless for the glory of God.
